A foreign national may acquire Ghanaian citizenship by naturalization. The Minister may with the approval of the President grant a certificate of naturalization to a foreign national of age and capacity if the Minister is satisfied that the person qualifies for the grant.

A person may also be eligible for registration as a citizen if he satisfies the Minister, with the approval of the President that they meet all of the eligibility requirements for citizenship by registration.

In all applications for naturalization or registration, we are able to assess the eligibility requirements for either grant, advise on relevant supporting documentation, complete relevant application forms, draft and review supporting letters in support of the application, and to engage with appropriate officials and the Ministry to ensure that application is processed within time.
